There will soon be only one legal politics if those billionaires have their way.

That is clearly a big dog. It just happens to have a small dog's body.

I think three words, above all, carried the weight of attracting votes at that time; Get Brexit done.

If Tommy Robinson is wanted by the police and has fled the country does that mean mean he's an illegal immigrant somewhere?

Private equity, investment vultures, are circling and ready to pick at the parts of the NHS deliberately left to rot. They're not just aiming for fair returns, they're after maximum profits which means services slashed, under-delivered, delayed or denied.

Well, is it a fair point or isn't it? Make your mind up.

Don't you think it's incredibly foolish to make a statement like that when it's so easy to verify these days?

You don't think disabled / chronically sick people losing £50pw and having to choose between eating and heating would cause that?

A pain medication I have is very affective but causes me anxiety. It's a balancing act sometimes of which of pain or anxiety I can cope with. So, yes they are.

I shall be reminding my MP of how he voted on this each time I see his empty virtue signaling on social media. He voted to do harm. He shouldn't still be allowed to pretend to care.

I was happy to pay out a big chunk of my wages for national insurance not just because that's what it is, an insurance policy for me, but because I knew that it helped the welfare bill, which most of us come to rely on at some point in our lives. A social safety net.

Anthony Vickers @anthonyvickers.bsky.social · 29/06/2025
It's not about inclusion, it's not about stopping people getting something for nothing or that they don't deserve. It's about flooding the jobs market to keep wages low. That's why they want disabled people in work.

A neoliberal president. Not doing things for people rather not doing things to people, so much. That's exactly what allowed Trump to get in, twice.

The Commandments aren’t morality, they’re control. Narrow in scope, stripped of context, they sidestep real ethics to impose belief and fear. It’s about obedience to one system, nothing more.

You missed the point and dropped a lazy sexist joke. Then you hide behind triggered accusation and 'just playing' like a gaslighting bully. How about trying to listen when you get called out instead of doubling down?

Fascism thrives on shifting scapegoats. As each group is drained, a new target is chosen. It feeds power through division. We must recognise the echoes of history before the cycle repeats. I didn’t mention Nazism, but anyway, Godwin’s Law doesn’t apply when the patterns are real.

Why leave this here after deleting your all doubling down on it yesterday?

I'm in pain flare-up, struggling to get meds right. Delivery trucks & noisy cars at showroom opposite wake me from 5-6am. Transfer from ESA to UC by July, & much of my PIP is being cut due to point changes. "Good" nights are a thing of the past for me I think but I didn't believe you anyway.
010
Anthony Vickers @anthonyvickers.bsky.social · 18/06/2025
Quoting all benefits fraud is obfuscating. PIP is what we're talking about. You jump on fraud bandwagon, & then jump through hoops to justify. Maybe you'd like to obfuscate further, but to your question, I've no idea. If you want to speculate & extrapolate to fit demonising headlines, go for it.
010
Anthony Vickers @anthonyvickers.bsky.social · 18/06/2025
Clickbait news headlines isn't evidence. The rise in PIP claims is due to the pandemic's health and social impact, not fraud. DWP own figures put PIP fraud at 0.4 percent, about £100 million. Most overpayments are genuine mistakes or health changes, not fraud. Here: www.gov.uk/government/s...

You brought up fraud. Why talk about a drop in the ocean when the ocean's right there?
000
Anthony Vickers @anthonyvickers.bsky.social · 18/06/2025
The pandemic made a lot of different conditions worse and pushed thousands more onto PIP. Mental health and delayed treatment drove most of this, whether or not claims mention Long COVID. Hence the doubling since 2019. Extrapolating it is scaremongering.
000
Anthony Vickers @anthonyvickers.bsky.social · 18/06/2025
There's no reason to think it will double again any time soon is there? Do you not think COVID had an impact there? Fraud is estimated at 0.4% which is tiny compared to financial crime, tax evasion, and white collar fraud committed by the wealthy. Why aren't you taking about that instead?

Right now the UK government (who are establishment stooges) are testing how badly they can treat people and get away with it. Unless you're very, very rich, that will be you too further down the line. You should do all you can to stop them now while you're not too distracted by the same crap.

Remember the teacher who'd punish the whole class because of some naughty thing one child did? I do and that's what the government's doing to disabled folks when they justify PIP cuts with fraudulent claims.

File this under "evidence members of parliament are too online" because we may mock Kemi Badenoch for obviously being in the thrall of facebook memes, but this is a response that can only seem appropriate if you're in the pipeline. Especially as an MP.

Context here for those of us not so up-to-date with some of these newfangled terms. I find this very troubling.
User:
Tell me what 'in the pipeline' means here.

ChatGPT:
In this context, "in the pipeline" is sarcastically suggesting that the person (likely Jonathan Hinder MP) is so chronically online and immersed in internet discourse—particularly right-wing or reactionary content—that they appear to be fully indoctrinated by it, as though being processed or manufactured by an assembly line of online radicalisation.

It implies:

They are no longer just consuming internet culture.

They are actively shaped by it.

Their worldview and political reactions reflect that immersion.

It's a jab at how some MPs seem more influenced by memes and online echo chambers than by real-world policy or constituents.

Dear @bsky.app @safety.bsky.app, It’s lovely to use your kinder platform occasionally. But I haven’t the spoons to post more or respond to mentions until I can move across fully—and I can’t do that without the locked accounts many Mad & Disabled folks need for safety. Please prioritise. Thanks Jay
