@dunks Thought I might see you at the Lynn Valley event today! Alas. I'll still come to North Shore events; maybe one time we'll be at the same event 😄

A woman (the District of North Vancouver Head Librarian, Caroline van Dyk) speaks into a microphone in a large room with large windows. There are a few table cloth covered tables and a few chairs visible.

@IanAMartin I'd ask if you were with Rogers -- which was out for me earlier this morning -- but I have a working connection now, so I doubt that. It's amazing how much out lives rely on this connection now. Hope you're enduring. Here's a cat.

A long-hair tortoiseshell cat sitting on a black blanket. Except the cat is sitting like she's a person in a chair, with her back legs stretched out towards the camera, her tail straight towards the camera, and her front paws crossed between her back legs and her back straight up and down. She's looking straight at the camera.

No, I don't know why she's like this.

Our rooftop garden plot is doing so well this year. We've not had success with carrots in the past 4 years; they've always been short, thin, and malformed. However, @gwenfloyd just pulled these two tonight. Yowza! #UrbanGardening #VancouverLife

A woman standing inside an apartment side-eyes two large carrots (with greens still attached) that she's holding. The woman is wearing a black Pusheen t-shirt that says "Whatever".

Bounty from urban gardens! The right half is from our rooftop community garden, including the biggest beet I've ever seen, some cukes, carrots, and beans. The left half is our CSA share this week from Sole Foods Urban Farms: shallots, leeks, potatoes, and more cukes. #UrbanFarming #Vancouver

Ticked off at this notice shoved through our door at 20h30 tonight. What does it mean for residents? What effect will the shutdown have on residents? What should residents do or not do? This memo is full of technical jargon and details that mean nothing to 95% of people. USE PLAIN LANGUAGE.

Notice advising of a "water riser shutdown" and later a "riser water and drainage shutdown" due to the need to replace a drainage pipe and "DHW" pipe

Here it is off the plate. Such a good print! However, the supports are proving a challenge to remove. #3dprinting
