Those bad apples who let the fame, money and ego go to their heads shouldn't represent what voice actors are in general, because while it doesn't pay very well, this kind of profession is truly incredible and I have nothing but an endless love for the VA's who put their time in to make others happy.

When I see that kind of passion and love for the work they put in, it always feels like it's my duty as a fan to always remind them when I can, that their time and effort truly was worth it because the bad apples of the bunch tend to give VA's a terrible reputation which well, harms the motivation.

It's interesting for me to read this personally as someone who is a passionate fan of voice actors and the concept of voice acting as a whole. At a convention in my area, I got to meet some very well known names who are very passionate and honored for the roles they contributed in.

At the Cleveland Anime Fest yesterday, I got to meet some incredibly kind and very amazing voice actors. They were Bob Carter, Tiffany Grant and @garylittman.bsky.social . They were all very kind and awesome people and I'm honored to have gotten to make their days just as they had made mine. ^_^

I went to the Cleveland Anime Festival convention (which strangely enough, was in Westlake not actually Cleveland) and I had a very fun time and purchased plenty of really cool stuff. I'll do a separate post regarding the guests I met there in the morning. For now, enjoy some stuff I bought there.

I do appreciate the quote post here, but I do feel that I should apologize if using an adblocker in any way gives you any struggles over on the Tubes. I know it's a pain in the ass for content creators there, but it's also a pain seeing the site break their own TOS with the shit I see with ads.

It's honestly going to take a long while for me to process this. I never followed his career in it's entirety, but what I did see during his time in both WWE and in his early days in AEW were nothing short of amazing, even if the former didn't use him correctly. RIP man. That's all I'll say.
