Under a thick hand shading the sunstrip, his dark eyes, they scan the levels of the new block crowding tall and white next the dome. It like he counting rooms, or like he ent never seen a block before.

Reckoned for nother dull day of same same. Nother day of the sunstrip ticking across the hub, of lux sliding round the wheel sector sector sector, glowing the grass and the crops and the towns and the lakes as stars spin. Nother day of me and the other dumb rando assholes with academy chores yawning through Systems shit til lunch.

The grey arc of the academy dome, it peeks over and through rect dark blocks ahead. Beyond, curled into haze, sleeps the flat tube of the wheel and the rest of Ossi sector spinward, waiting for the sunstrip ticking slow slow in a circ round the hub. Cabins and patchwork fields, and blocks of work and domes and bowls and forests and lakes between towns, and the wiggling black, waiting day.

The sunstrip, it brights enough to tickle the line of fat Xs, like XXXXXXX, stretching vert from hub to tread at the sector wall spinward. It a ladder, comes the joke, cept noby got the legs to climb the kims, and noby gonna breathe void outside the tube any case.

The wheel, it got ten ladders, ten spokes, giving Capricorn ten sectors, up and round. They hang magic above like a painting, tick tick tick round the wheel, front of a spin of rushing stars.
