im more picturing jax in asuka's situation etc ie eva pilot jax with mommy issues. on top of seeing jax piloting an eva (very cool), i think theres something about imagining (torturing, quote unquote) jax with issues like proving he's """enough""" (on top of exploring his interpersonal relationship)

my biggest problem wasnt the rendering itself, it's my compositing workflow. not sure where it failed, but im sure it's lack of memory somewhere. i might have to rethink compositing strategies.

32GB of ram is, in fact, not enough to render and composite to 40MP i need ram prices to go down so i can finally buy that 96GB set that i want ;w; i guess i'll stick with 20MP renders :/ (20MP -> 11" x 17" print @ 300dpi, i wanted 600dpi. why? cuz i can)
