Posting timelapses on tiktok has been interesting because the ones that don't perform well on YouTube do pretty well there

Gigi my sweet girl! Looks sick in this style Makes me think of sketches done on the inner covers of those black and white composition notebooks

Ooh I am both very excited and emotional to hear that! I'm planning a character sketch page with an accessory breakdown at some point as well

I got sidetracked with some other projects but I'll have her colored fairly soon. I'm still deciding on her overall palette

so much of my "Healing my inner child arc" has been asking myself sometimes: "hey buddy, you wanna draw?" or "you wanna go find something weird to do on your day off?" and it's been good for the bad brain days

you're not a creative, you're just a lazy, entitled dickhead who cares more about the destination than the journey and to put it simply: Nobody wants you.

my firm stance with AI and people who try to justify its use in creative endeavors is simple: If you don't care enough to do the research and work to cultivate and refine the skillset you're using AI to emulate, yet still feel as though your "creative vision" needs to be seen

I taught a few friends the handful of ties I knew and up until I started drawing shibari-themed art, it was a skill/interest I had completely forgotten about

020 0

AnSa | VGen/Ko-Fi Comms Open (1/10) @ansavisuals.bsky.social · 15/10/2026

I remember my very first exposure to shibari was through a hentai manga called More Than Lovers, Less Than Friends back when I was high school and I forgot all about it until I read Nana To Kaoru back in 2016. I went down a rabbit-hole at the time, learned how to tie some stuff

AnSa | VGen/Ko-Fi Comms Open (1/10) @ansavisuals.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

Also I understand the BW bias. I used to draw exclusively in black and white as a kid/when I returned to traditional art I think partially because I love Manga and how much artists do with comparatively so little

Thank you! I really wanted to integrate her tail into the composition and the rope tie itself because of how infrequently I see people consider their character's tails in things like this

there's like hundreds of reference photographers all over socials you can look up and study from, there's free websites, if you wanna study styles you have stuff like LivingLinesLibrary and a million youtube tutorials. studying and adapting/adjusting is part of the fun

Most of my stuff is "backed up" in weird places, primarily my phone, some stuff I've emailed myself, and the copies I've shared with friends on discord. Still that shit sucks. Is there a way for you to restore any of the lost images from Google specifically?

People like that make no sense to me. If you don't like or want to consume NSFW content that's entirely fine and valid, but when you start being a puritanical dick about it, you lose any kind of empathy, at least from me.

To learn in the middle of the process. And there are a few times where I get almost done and think "no, I can do better." And start over. So yeah that's why my process takes a while

Sometimes when I'm working on commissions stuff takes a while because I'm experimenting with a pose or with rendering or because I'm trying to be sure I don't miss anything from the brief the client gave me. Sometimes it's because I've hit a wall with something I don't know how to do and have

Did some hair rendering for the commission I'm working on. Today was long, I think I ate something bad, but I wanted to make a little progress. Trying not to fall into art block or decision paralysis about the piece

In relation to any Harry Potter nonsense I need to make something really clear: not watching a show is as easy as not eating chick fil a and not shopping at hobby lobby. I've read better magical school fiction and have long since outgrown this shit franchise.
