anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 19/12/2025And if it will be even less profitable (of course the big companies will make profit with experience with shoving stuff into people's faces) no one will want to invest into smaller studios so making games as a job will fade away. And how will be buying these games when no-one has money? 010
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 19/12/2025If everyone can easily make a game within 2-3 years it just means that it's less probable that anyone will play your game : it's already hard for small developers to be seen enough to earn anything. So not only the quality would degrade, but also making games would be even less profitable. 100
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 16/03/2025It's beautiful 😍 And so warm and cozy and sweet! Great work! 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 09/03/2025Also, not only this game is very, very good, with a rollercoaster of main plot, but the acting of both Hans's and Henry's actors is incredible as well. 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 09/03/2025Personally, unless someone likes very challenging combat, I would suggest to skip the first game and just watch a recap (the developer, Warhorse, have it on their yt channel) and to straight to kcd2 - the combat is much better there. This romance is available only from the 2nd game too. 100
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 09/03/2025After that, as a punishment, Henry gets assigned as Hans's page and the boys slowly grow both up and closer together in the first game. KCD2 continues the story. The story and most characters are based on actual Czech history. 110
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 09/03/2025If you mean Hans and Henry (the only gay romance), then... Well, KCD tries to present quite historically accurate picture of a Christian country in mediaeval Europe. On top of that Hans is a noble, Henry is a bastard raised as a peasant, so their relationship started pretty much from a fist fight. 100
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 09/03/2025Had the same problem with first kcd; in 2 they reworked the combat noticeably(or nerfed it as some complainers say)and it's much more intuitive now imho. Still have to pay attention, but the perks and moves you can learn help a lot. I'm rather a casual gamer and I managed to even get decent at it :) 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 09/03/2025The plot is just a never ending roller coaster of things going wrong accompanied by a lot of humour and really, really good acting of main characters and great cinematics It really is something else! 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 09/03/2025In KCD2 combat is much easier and the perks are much easier to gain. It still requires a lot of adjusting and it is still a bit wonky, but the difference is significant imho. 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 06/03/2025Just finished the game (played only because of how adorable Luke is ;P) , any recommendations? ;) 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 28/02/2025I saw this scene on yt. I had to check what all the whining was about and knew the previous game, and... Well, I saw the scene and next day I bought the game (despite how much I hate the combat system), it was THAT good :) I always was a sucker for tender romance scenes <3 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 23/02/2025There are some potions that should help you with keeping stamina up. Also I would suggest running and jumping around a lot - this also levels up vitality from what I noticed; there is also a perk that levels up your strength a bit when picking flowers. 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 23/02/2025Exactly, at least voice actors are cool, but all the bigotry is really tiring... :( 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 09/02/2025It depends on how much you are able to accept failed checks :) Myself I couldn't so it was reload fest when conversation didn't go my way :D If that might be a problem I suggest to simply play a charisma base character - bard or sorcerer. It helped me a lot 000

anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 05/02/2025I played DA2 recently and I concluded my brain was probably defending itself from trauma by erasing memories of how much a psycho purple Hawke was :D Still love the plot in this game 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 05/02/2025It's something poker-alike; as such it doesn't have to be a strip version, but it definitely can be :) 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 05/02/2025Agreed; not only we got a conclusion but also an important statement about inclusivity. Shame that so many people decided to just fight it instead of discussing if/how different their experiences were. 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 05/02/2025Nie jest to niesamowita gra pod większością względów, ale to nie znaczy że nie jest niezła :) Przeszłam dwa razy i pewnie jeszcze zagram :D 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 02/02/2025I love the design of Johanna's construct! Personally l, I'm sending either Taash or Davrin. After all, they both trained so much to climb weird creatures ;) 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 02/02/2025Well done, it's beautiful! ❤️ I somehow cannot wrap my mind around guaches, so lots of respect :) 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 01/02/2025Hint: there is a reason why it HAS to be a gray warden sword to kill a regular Archdemon during the Blight and why they die if they do so :) 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 01/02/2025Veilguard is far from chill for me - it's definitely too fast paced for that except for a few small missions :D I would go with no man's sky for a moment ;) 110
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 01/02/2025Noticed that too. EA said it was mainly sport games being a disappointment, but no, that character made hate videos have millions of clicks, so we can earn some money feeding this "make other people a boogeyman" trend too! It's disgusting. 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 31/01/2025Even Carver doesn't like early game Carver (in mark of the assassin he comments that he was a butt back then :D ) 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 31/01/2025However cheesy it sounds, this game and this cheese did help me a lot to survive my winter depression :) 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 21/01/2025I also appreciate the ultis - the vfx and camerawork make it look like it was a shot straight from anime and I loved it :) 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 21/01/2025Honestly it's the best warrior mechanics in all da games. I used reaper spec and I liked it very much, while in DAI I was to bored to finish the game- with all the life leech and shield throws it was actually fun. Warriors are much slower though, especially in the beginning. 100
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 17/01/2025I just finished DAII with my favourite purple Hawke. Some dialogues were so much worse than I remembered! Not to mention how differently I see some of the characters now, after so many years... So I agree, at least some of the outrage is fuelled by how we remember the games, not how they were 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 08/01/2025Depends on the part of the Fade, Veilguard takes place mostly (only?) in Solas's crossroads, not the greater Fade. Crossroads from Inquisition also didn't have the green filter - Morrigan's were blue while the crossroads from Trespasser had similar bright filter as Veilguard. 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 06/01/2025Due to melancholy induced by Veilguard I'm playing DA2 and... I feel it so much... 000

anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 02/01/2025DAI; sure I have 1k hours in it, but it was all done many years ago, so maybe it's time for another round ;P 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 31/12/2024Agreed; personally the biggest problem of this game is not what is in it, but what seems to be missing. 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 31/12/2024I love DA2 the most despite atrocious combat, repetitive quests, cheap level design and ugly textures, but I agree Inquisition was the best and the brightest star in whole series :) 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 31/12/2024As someone who has loved RPGs for years, starting with Neverwinter Nights and BG2 and Pillars... I liked DAO, but I do agree it is the weakest. It was a very good game, but was also generic dark fantasy like many others. It was the next iterations that made DA feel like something separate to me. 100
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 31/12/2024no wonder Carver hates Hawke so much... And then there is Varric being savage as well ... 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 31/12/2024Hah, I had similar experience - I didn't like games with guns like at all, but then I finished all DA that was available and decided to try MA and now Red Dead or zombie games are no problem for me at all :) 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 26/12/2024They should, old time fans is what keeps d&d and Baldur's gate afloat. There is also a lot of old time fans that actually do like Veilguard and think it's a good game, but wish it was given as much love and as much depth as older games from the franchise 000
anowi.bsky.social @anowi.bsky.social · 25/12/2024There are several conversations where you can bring that topic out. When you romance people there are also conversations about it if they didn't already know and all I saw were quite heartwarming with the reactions rook was getting. 000
