Literally nothing in your post bears any resemblance to, much less is responsive to, what I wrote

God you are stupid. But you obviously enjoy venting stupidity instead of actually thinking about what was actually said

Drone warfare was coming inevitably, period. Using drones first is NOT even remotely something to criticize him for. All new technology can be used wisely or poorly, for good or ill. And, the civilian deaths, while tragic, would not be any less dead if those drones were instead manned warplanes.

And the appearance and further development of drones was always just a fundamental fact of life. There is not even some plausible alternative timeline. It was and is always about the decency and wisdom of those in command - what goals are chosen, what care is taken/attempted, etc.

Well they need to have hit the back-up / mirror site too (I assume even Russia has those)

Because there has to be an American holiday regarding an Italian? Why? (And there are lots of Italians who were better people than Columbus, but your premise is so silly that its not worth delving into that next step)

It definitely will not end by undermining Ukraine and supporting Putin's agenda/propaganda.

Pretty predictable. You are the type of person who will always focus your bile on the mainstream person who is less antagonistic to your [purported] position than the other. And that is not just rhetoric. I know your type. And I have called you correctly.

Ooooooh, campaigning with Obama. So trying to win. So in your view "sold out". I really cannot imagine how clueless people like you even dress themselves in the morning.

Undoubtedly your profound response to people who resisted Hitler, Mussolini and Franco. You definitely would have been a character in one or more of Orwell's books.

When Dems take control in 2029, this POS needs to be first against the (figurative) wall, along with the Trump family and their DOJ/FBI senior appointees.

Agree with preparing, but among the options, "national strike" would be the lamest and most ineffective. Gets maybe a 3% leftist groups salivating, but nothing else would happen.

Can't be a secret. The people shipping to U.S. (and their governments), and the people importing the product (and our custom inspectors), all know if the tariff is in place or not. I suspect vaporware.

Actually I think the organizing principle is in most circumstances a random mix of 30% dishonesty, 30% stupidity, 20% greed, and 20% ridiculous resentments. It's quite a brew.

Hank Desmond's doctorate must be in the field of lying, nobody could be this stupid. Trump is routinely insulting to women, notably including direct insults to female members of the White House press corps when they ask questions he doesn't like.

1. The old myth that non-voters would be on my side if only they voted - far from the case. 2. Jill Stein and her ilk are a meaningful factor in discouraging voting by those who really might be on our side.

Seriously??? You are bemoaning somebody taking (what you think is) a cheap shot at Donald Trump - who takes even more cheap, malicious, unlawful, baseless, evil shots at people who don't support him, on virtually every day ending in a "y"/

Very OT (but don't want to comment on LGM, and don't know how to email to admins): I just read the Tommy John post/comments. Are you and the other posters cool with Loomis' attitude/behavior? It made me sad; doubly so learning that he has banned valued posters. Checking out of LGM for awhile.

OT: I just read the Tommy John post on LGM. Are you cool with Loomis' attitude in comments? It made me sad (even sadder to learn that he had banned some good posters, for reasons that I never saw). I'm checking out of there for at least awhile.

The only visible issue is whether something was or wasn't "out of context" - but nothing in your comment, or anywhere else in the thread, goes to what that something was and what the context was or wasn't. You are engaging in pure ad hominem on an issue that is not visible much less addressed.

Kevin @anotherkevin7.bsky.social · 11/08/2026
So I read this entire thread, including your post and what it linked and all the comments, and I have absolutely no idea what the issue is. Nothing but ad hominem. All of you on this thread should be ashamed.

Thanksgiving pre-existed that, and became a national holiday with Lincoln, focused on the Union during the civil war. None of this should be a part of any Democratic platform, unless you want, for the sake of some imaginary "righteousness", to lose any connection with vast majority of voters.

And PR is not plausible here - not because it's wrong - just because the constitutional system we have.

Not "'my' old-style democracy" - just the reality of the system. I'd be happy to have ranked choice voting, which would party, but only sort of, ameliorate that. Don't shoot the messenger.

Further, further, under the deeply imbedded American system, there will always be two major parties, as a mathematical fact, any others being either spoilers against the party closest to that party's views (however far that may be) or simply irrelevant. Simple mathematical fact.

MOUs can and sometimes do have some binding conditions. And they specify which are and aren't. Of course, this one was negotiated by amateur ignoramuses (on US part), so .... (For example, would Iran be in breach of this MOU if it fires on every ship through the Straight over the next 30 days?)

The Ist, 2nd, 4th and 5th bullets, are the status quo from before the war was started. The second half of the middle bullet was the status quo from when the war was launched. The first half of the middle bullet is unclear, but can only be interpreted as some kind of benefit to Iran. But so be it.

True. But under the Roberts court's immunity ruling, there are no consequences for that indefensible activity. Just another example of the implications of the Roberts court's made-up-without-Constitutional-textual-support immunity doctrine. Yet they have the nerve to call themselves originalists.
