Looking stylish as hell! We've got some lovely rain today, really light and a nice cool breeze. A welcome change for someone that prefers autumn to summer.

I hadn't thought about the colour not really mattering. I'd looked at some goblin tutorials, but cos they were all mixing for different tones, I was worried about getting something entirely wrong. I could maybe look at demon and tiefling cosplay tutorials too.

But I think Latex will be the best option as I can learn to make them myself, and it gives me the freedom to also do meetups in character.

If I didn't need to wear the headphones (they're part of the full look) I'd be doing the headband route as well. But two thin wire headbands is definitely gonna set off some of my autistic sensitivity to pressure. I could also look into custom printing some ears that attach to the headphones. 🤔

This is the issue I'm wondering about as for obvious reasons, I don't want to be stained slightly red all week. 😅 I also know nothing about makeup at all so I wouldn't know where to begin seeking a suitable foundation. I guess the experimenting is part of the fun though...

I have some 3D printed ears that work great, but when combining them with my headphones, and soon glasses (I can't afford contacts anymore) it's too much pinching after an hour. So I'm considering latex as an option, so I can also make them the way I want and can blend them more easily.

Do I happen to have any mutuals that know anything about makeup, specifically for cosplay? I'm wanting to experiment with my Goblin persona and I need to be a reddish colour with big ears, but I don't know where to begin. I've never even done regular everyday makeup so it's a bit overwhelming.

20yrs ago in pubs is where I was frequently insulted for telling a man "no" after they thought it was OK to touch or grab various parts of my body. Theres a reason I don't go to pubs and it's all based on this bullshit "golden era" losers like to reminisce about.

I get wanting to also be celebrated. It's sometimes a bit hard and lonely to be single with no kids (by choice or otherwise)... But their attitude to life and friendship is heinous. He knows he can say no to events, right? Or that he can throw a party and invite friends whenever he wants, right?

Not to mention, streaming might be easy to start doing, it's more accessible than ever. But it takes so much time, effort, energy, and a willingness to fail and learn. It's not easy to DO long term. The only part that's easy is to burn yourself out cos of all the offline work you need to do on top.

Obviously the bar to entry for monetisation is much lower on Twitch than any other of the streaming platforms (that are worth being on). But I don't think they realise that just cos the door is open, doesn't mean anyone will walk in. Twitch has near zero discovery, so you need to do some work.

I think I kinda always knew, adults would often comment about my behaviour and my ma was a very shouty woman. But it became tangible at pre-school. I was ostracised within weeks. I *couldn't* play with groups. I didn't understand how. And other kids would pick on me for knowing things they didn't.

Personally, yes. But I'm generally interested in lost/hidden family. I have many family members I've never met because my father left when I was young. I wouldn't necessarily be interested in connecting, I just like to know details about family lines.

But the Time blindness is the thing that gets me in the most trouble. I'm always late for work, meetings, appointments, gatherings. And it's not just the time, it's dates as well. I'll forget what day of the week it is. Sometimes what month. I didn't realise it was my brother's birthday yesterday.

Time blindness, but when it's mixed with either executive dysfunction or hyperfixation. I hate how I can think I'm only doing nothing/something for maybe an hour, but actually my whole day has gone and I have nothing to show for it during both. It shouldn't take 5hrs to check my phone. But it does.
