Univariate data drift doesn't show the full picture. Take a look at this demo created by my colleague @anopsy.bsky.social There are two univariate distributions (top and right) which remain almost unchanged during the whole process.

That's actually the second* time that I'm happy to see a warning or an error. I'm working in marimo-notebooks and the warning comes from narwhals(a library I contribute to) *second because I've already encountered a narwhals error message in streamlit (through altair)

My first blog for NannyML is out! I explore data quality and data drift concepts and hands on examples. For example how to detect multivariate drift using PCA reconstruction error. Click the link 👉 www.nannyml.com/blog/guide-d...
GIF demonstrating relation between joint distributions and PCA reconstruction error.

Do you know what the real price of going dataframe-agnostic is? According to this Plotly blog post: "There’s an old joke that a programmer is someone who will do something for a t-shirt that they wouldn’t do for $100. Switching to Narwhals cost us two t-shirts; we think it was a great investment."

Daaayum, hackathons are awesome. Our team Honkerdam Octopuses 🐙🐙(me and Victor) just won a #NumHack hackathon organized by @NumFOCUS in two categories "Build" and "Train" for prototyping a Good First Issues Recommender. Yay! #opensource
