Very much agree. I’d also add that something I get a lot of joy out of is working on my own bikes. If you can’t fix it, can you say it’s really yours? I love building bikes from scrap. There’s nothing quite as unique as a frankenbike built from scrounged parts. Heres one of mine, for a friend.
