I'm going to say this with my whole chest. Steam has rules about AI disclosure. Those rules directly relate to the Steam store page (reasonably considered an advertisement). If a dev or pub fails to disclose AI usage in accordance with those policies, they are being dishonest in their advertising

Catching up with the latest MinnMax podcast and it really cuts deep hearing the grief in Ben's voice as they openly address the discovery of Jacob Geller's past. What a blow to the community and the Cohorts. I've had to stop my walk for a cry. It still hurts, even though I wasn't directly effected.

100%. You're signing up to becoming a content creator for most of your hours. As well as being a community manager (if you find an audience) and also a social media manager. You basically don't get time off... Unless you're like me and you just stop for multiple weeks at a time. 😅

How do you plan to convert your 3 viewers? Just cos people can, doesn't suddenly mean you'll be raking it in.

But I also dislike so many that I come across looking to make money at the lowest effort or actively avoiding learning a new skillset. I've always cared so much about providing some kind of value, so it feels so antithetical to me that someone would assume something I do is the "easy" option.

It's a frustration I come across time and again. But I also understand. Young people aren't necessarily able to "work" traditionally yet, and young folks are pulled into the economy problems way earlier today, so they worry more than I ever had to at their age about affording things.

I get wanting to also be celebrated. It's sometimes a bit hard and lonely to be single with no kids (by choice or otherwise)... But their attitude to life and friendship is heinous. He knows he can say no to events, right? Or that he can throw a party and invite friends whenever he wants, right?

Not to mention, streaming might be easy to start doing, it's more accessible than ever. But it takes so much time, effort, energy, and a willingness to fail and learn. It's not easy to DO long term. The only part that's easy is to burn yourself out cos of all the offline work you need to do on top.

Obviously the bar to entry for monetisation is much lower on Twitch than any other of the streaming platforms (that are worth being on). But I don't think they realise that just cos the door is open, doesn't mean anyone will walk in. Twitch has near zero discovery, so you need to do some work.

I know I'm more sensitive to this cos I'm a streamer, but I see a lot of younger folks talking about wanting to stream cos it's "easier" for making money, or cos it's easier than learning a craft. Oh sweet child... I wish you well in your future of realisations.

I think I kinda always knew, adults would often comment about my behaviour and my ma was a very shouty woman. But it became tangible at pre-school. I was ostracised within weeks. I *couldn't* play with groups. I didn't understand how. And other kids would pick on me for knowing things they didn't.

Personally, yes. But I'm generally interested in lost/hidden family. I have many family members I've never met because my father left when I was young. I wouldn't necessarily be interested in connecting, I just like to know details about family lines.

But the Time blindness is the thing that gets me in the most trouble. I'm always late for work, meetings, appointments, gatherings. And it's not just the time, it's dates as well. I'll forget what day of the week it is. Sometimes what month. I didn't realise it was my brother's birthday yesterday.

Time blindness, but when it's mixed with either executive dysfunction or hyperfixation. I hate how I can think I'm only doing nothing/something for maybe an hour, but actually my whole day has gone and I have nothing to show for it during both. It shouldn't take 5hrs to check my phone. But it does.

I like my peace too. I just also crave change sometimes. Sounds to me you don't actually want to be in company of anyone, and that's fine! But I hope for your sanity you're able to find something engaging to do when you run out of the lost of stuff to do. Boredom is a terrible thing.

I'd ask what about becoming a hermit is bad for *you*. Or is it a value judgement based on other people's opinions? If you like Hermitage, there's nothing wrong with that. But it's also OK for a hermit to want company now and then as well. I go out for walks to be around people, but not engage.

Is: f) beginning a new hobby ... out of the question? Hobbies don't need to cost money. There's lots of free options out there. And it can incorporate any other goals you might have to make your life more *you*. I asked my coach about volunteering recently, perhaps there's something there?

Yea, I'm not sure. As that simply sounds like another perspective of NB and Genderfluid. I just don't know how much is "simple" dysmorhia, how much is how different (other) I feel because of being autistic, and how much is genuinely not feeling like I align with anything about being AFAB.

There's certainly an aspect of that, where I have vivid memories of entering adolescence and despising how it changed how I was perceived and addressed, along with how I looked. It changed my relationships, which felt like betrayal. I just don't know if it's the full answer.
