About to go to bed at 7:30 PM, so hoping that nothing expensive happens in the last few hours of November. Nov: I accidentally maxed out my 403(b) early for the year and I unexpectedly got $1,500 extra in my paycheck. Decided to tuck it into an e-bike fund instead of saving.

I just did a 5:45am 11-mile ride to the rink up the SW hills- 1,075ft of elevation gain in a dense fog advisory- for the first time ever on an e-bike. It was incredible. Barely sweaty (unlike usual) and got there 30% faster. Might be sold. (It was the VVolt Centauri II.)

Just caught up on spreadsheets and I crossed $30K saved this year - just shy of 45% savings rate. The vast majority is retirement investing (index funds) with a small portion being cash savings. Also, if it goes according to plan I will hit a 5% giving rate for 2024.

Last month's report! The vet bills were high because of all the routine vaccinations for the kittens, but we'll get reimbursed for a chunk by their pet insurance. My marginal cost for yoga was $4.30/class, which is pretty good (I won't stretch left to my own devices).
