This is a 24 Hour game jam held for Barfyace at the end of February. People in the roulette server felt bad for him getting accidentally grinched a few years in a row in secret santa, so we got together and made this for him!

I forgot you were making Brave Earth for a second and thought there was some massive character lore that was being hidden from the world in IWBTG for a second

...I also have the ability to make all posts from an account appear in the feed, regardless of if it contains the terms or not. Don't plan to do this for any personal accounts, but if you have an account specifically devoted to fangame posting (like @fangametakes.bsky.social ) let me know.

...I have the ability to make certain accounts that may be posting those phrases be auto-approved. So, if you post a lot about IWBTG (and aren't already approved) let me know and I can make it so your posts appear as they get posted. Furthermore...

...other terms like "IWBTG Fangame, IWBTG Fangames, I Wanna Games, I Wanna Fangame, I Wanna Fangames, I wanna be the Fangames, I wanna be the fangame" require manual approval because they sometimes pick up posts not intended for the feed (rarely). With that said though...

Currently anything containing the phrases "IWBTG, iwannabetheguy, Aiwanna, Delfruit, Del-fruit" will be accepted at no questions asked (unless you are blacklisted) because if people are posting about these specifically there's really no wiggle room for if it's relevant or not to the feed, but...

Alice Nobodi @anobodi.bsky.social · 15/04/2025

Did some backroom stuff to the IWBTG feed so I don't have to manually accept as many regular people who post about IWBTG, if you want your handle to be added to the list of people who don't need manually verified feel free to reply to this post (more elaboration in the thread)

sometimes i worry when making fangames that if i reuse an asset on accident in a different way it might confuse the player, but then i remember kayin literally put two whole different bullet bills in IWBTG, one of which kills you if you jump on it, and the other of which you are required to jump on

I suppose in that sense one could just think of outsider literature as anything that doesn't have the slightest intention of being printed to a physical medium. I.e. websites, blog posts, visual novels, and other similar things

210

Alice Nobodi @anobodi.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

I've never really thought of literature as having the same sort of groupings/scenes that stuff like music and film have, so I suppose for outsider literature to exist there'd first need to be insider literature. Like i'm sure it probably exists but I've never read smthn and went "oh yep that's it"

Alice Nobodi @anobodi.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

yeah, I made it to see how hard it would be to get most IWBTG fangame discussion into one place

010

Alice Nobodi @anobodi.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

I think I managed to make the IWBTG feed more accurate and not include random instances of people talking about an IWC other than the I wanna community, also there were like 3 or so "posts of longing" (idk how else to describe it) and it should catch less of those now
