I’m pretty much 90% finished for my next animation In The Fire and just need to do some small fixes here and there. Can’t wait to release this! Also, I will never ever make a fully colored musical animation again (lie).

The story of Iphis and Ianthe is the only account that explicitly depicts female same-sex desire of Graeco-Roman mythology. It's a story that uses words you cannot reinterpret as something different nor erase. The story explicitly tells that Iphis and Ianthe loved each other. End of sentence.

And lastly, Iphis and Ianthe! A Roman story taking place in Crete where Egyptian gods save the day!

So Banba is often used poetically to symbolize Ireland, with poets declaring their love for “her” (the land). But in Flann Mainistrech’s (1050s) poem he uses Áine to declare her love to Banba instead. So.... I really like the idea that every single love poem to Banba is actually Áine writing them.

Time for the celtic goddesses! The goddess of Love, Áine loves the goddess of Ireland, Banba so so so much!

Two illustration of the celtic goddesses Áine and Banba. Áine rides her red mare towards Banba. Both looking at eachother longing. Then the next illustration Áine jumps and gives Banba lots of kisses.

Perpetua and Felicity are 3rd-century North African paired saints. Some consider them lesbian saints or patrons of it. The historian John Boswell named Perpetua and Felicity as one of the three primary pairs of same-sex saints in the early church in his book "Same Sex Unions in Pre-Modern Europe".

Right now, the David & Jonathan keychain is in stock and available in my shop! It's limited! I do not have stock for Achilles/Patroclus and Gilgamesh/Enkidu, as it will be produced after the pre-orders close, so I estimate the shipping will be August.

"Then Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as his own soul. Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that he was wearing and gave it to David and his armor and even his sword and his bow and his belt." - 1 Samuel 18:1-4

It depicts two illustrations of David and Jonathan from 1 Samuel 18:1-4, when Jonathan gives his robe and all his possessions to David because he loved him as his own soul. The left drawing shows Jonathan giving his robe to a very vulnerable David, while the right depicts Jonathan nude as David carries all the gifts.

Sooo I had to reupload The Challenge animatic because I noticed a continuity issue in one of the shots when the bow was unstrung. I couldn’t let it go once I saw it and had to fix it. Sorry! 😭 So I have made a new upload now! youtu.be/d3OS3QCfq30?...
