Texas Prickly Pear in my wild wildflower garden.

Milk thistle blossoms. So beautiful when just looking at the flower.

Big storms in central Texas bring water and happiness to my river dogs.

The Lampasas River in central Texas runs between a rock wall and a pebble covered beach. At the top of the rock cliff, we see trees and bushes growing along the edge. The lower half of the cliff is layered from years of water erosion. A blue sky with a few gray clouds is in the back ground. A black and a yellow labrador retriever swim happily in the river.

Ranch life dog. She just showed up on the porch looking like this after going down to our cottage and barn with my husband. Silly Dog! Immediate bath.

Winter finally came to Texas, so it's time for fancy s'mores with the neighbors. 😁

We adopted a chocolate lab last year. He was 7 and never lived inside a house either. He is the very best boy and loves his new life on our ranch very much. Especially his comfy inside dog beds.
