I’m conflicted about Larian admitting they’re using AI. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and they don’t seem to be using it extensively, but I seriously dislike the fact that they’re using it at all. I’m going to research as things come up and monitor it.

As far as I can tell they’re just using Machine learning models to help automate some tasks, like adjusting animations to fit on different species or add dynamic lighting. Gen AI isn’t used here. Larian have generally been pretty upfront and supportive with the community and creatives in general.
