In my life I have seen Democrats evolve to want: Lower taxes, reduced 'welfare', aim to 'eliminate the need for abortion', be pro-(big)-business, get tougher on (petty) crime, support war(s). Now "work with" AI. Sure. So many D.C. Dems are GOP with larger vocabularies.

I can not see the USPS being trusted any more than the CDC, DOJ, EPA, etc. Whatever the courts decide, we already have purposeful slowdowns. Any maga postal worker will think losing mailed ballots is their duty to the cause.
