A bid by incoming US President Donald Trump to wrest control of Greenland could be big business for fossil fuel firms. It could also tip the planet into a climate-change spiral that it would have no hope recovering from. 🔗 www.politico.eu/article/why-...

Brussels air quality today. “Horrible,” by official metrics. Obviously thanks to all the drivers of fossil fuel cars, vans and trucks. The roads are chock a block with them today. Aside from polluting the air, driving is the absolute worst way to travel in a city.

One mistake urbanists often make is arguing with people when they say they NEED their car for, frankly, whatever. Maybe they do, maybe they don’t, but I find the more effective point is that, if they have to or want to drive, it’s in their best interest that their neighbours can CHOOSE to NOT drive.
