Keir Starmer did not save the Labour Party. He all but ripped its heart out and destroyed it. The party will survive, I'm glad he won't. A leader doesn't get to write their own legacy, that's a judgement made over time by others.

During the commemoration of the General Strike today in Barnsley, it was my pleasure to hand out flyers about Chesterfield's legendary May Day event on behalf of Chesterfield TUC. Interesting that many comrades there were aware of our TUC's success in marking May Day over the years.
