I’ve been drawing so slowly lately because I keep sleeping too much and losing chunks of the day. Most likely mental health/depression stuff, so I’m trying not to just call myself lazy. 💀

I headcanon him as the type that'd react to someone seeing his chest with a girlish scream and covering himself like it's actually scandalous 😭🤣

It's an old piece I'm not very happy with, but still, here's some Ramón thirst details. :D #RE4R #RamónSalazar

RE news is gonna be everywhere and there's no escaping it, so I'm taking a step back for a bit. Happy for the people who are excited. I'm just not one of them.

Do I even count as part of a fandom if any news just makes me want to mute everything because it either makes me feel detached or sad? 🫥

There are a bunch of things I prefer about remake Ramón Salazar's design over his OG design. Especially his shoes. I love you, OG Ramón, but WHAT ARE THOOOOSE?! 😭

They're both purdy, cracked porcelain dolls uwu ❤️

I think the few characters I'm drawn to have a thing in common: At first glance, & most of the time, they look like complete gonks, but then they make a certain face or are shown with a flattering angle, & you look closely, and it's like "wait.. why are you strangely beautiful?"

Can confirm: I love when I get these references!

I'm going to stop depression-venting on here since I don't want to keep making people feel uncomfortable or scare them off. I'll return when I have art etc to post. Thank you all for your patience. ❤️

Feeling ashamed of your hyperfixation to the point that not even your family knows about them. Not even after 15+ years.

Ramón refers to everyone in a polite manner except for the zealot who he just calls “worm” lol

180

Annausagi2 @annausagi2.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

The whole tragedy of him being a young man, aged by the plaga that saved his life, having daddy-issues and being manipulated by Saddler... I guess that detail wasn't important because god forbid we make him the least bit interesting. 🫠

030

Annausagi2 @annausagi2.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

The realization that most remake-only players never learned that Ramón Salazar is only 20 years old...

Annausagi2 @annausagi2.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

Srsly though, what's the psychology behind this? 😭😂 I believe I'm the only woman among my friends and close moots that do this; completely taking myself out of the equation lol. I've only seen them make the character bi, at most.

Me, a cis woman: "This male character is hot. I'm gonna headcanon him as gay and have him bang dudes only!"

Fun fact (???): for the longest time during WIP, this piece was more suggestive, as Ramón's eyes were focused lower on Gideon's body. 👀

Annausagi2 @annausagi2.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

Which sucks, because with all the lore and tiny details they added, he had so much potential to be such a memorable villain in his own right. If only the game gave the player anything to latch onto before his (much improved tbh) boss fight. I swear, they must've had more planned.

I hate that not only did they nerf his screentime, but they went way, way too hard to pull back Ramón Salazar's personality/quirks in RE4R that he just became dreadfully boring.💀 You could seriously replace him with a piece of cardboard after his intro and before the boss fight.

Watched some Gideon interrogation reactions just because it's fun to see peeps reacting to the old man yaoi. Haven’t seen a single RE4R Ramón reaction mashup but it’s fine I’ve already memorized all two jokes people say about him from the lets plays I tried to watch... 👍

Gideon is also only 12 years older than Salazar, but Ramón would probably still see him as a DILF, especially if he was ressurected 20 years after Leon defeated him, hence he'd still be in the mind-set of a 20 year old and-- /AU lore nobody cares about
