They've been so damaging to Dems. Every nutty idea they promote or crazy thing they do gets attached to us. The average voter simply doesn't know the difference between DSA and Dems. Also as someone who grew up actual rural working class, this cosplay shit they pull drives me nuts.

As someone who can't vote in Maine, it will be neither for me. I donate both time and money to at least a couple of Senate races every cycle and I will be focus on the ones I believe are likely to flip.

Based on the much greater than normal gender gap I'm going to say they're right. It's not easy to convince sexist Americans, even on the left, to trust a woman with the top job. In most countries, a conservative woman will be the first to break the glass ceiling, sadly might be the same here.
