Profile in Nari Magazine
Among all the interviews I did in Nepal during these past two months, this one was fun in a different way as it wasn't on video. Nari Magazine's Upasana Ghimire interviewed me, following the usual celebrity profile questions that used to drive me crazy, but this time it was fun. Of course I'm slightly less precise in this summarized interview than I am when I'm representing myself without the filter of anyone else's interpretations, but here you go. A profile of me (in Nepali). Nari Magazine, Bhadra 1, 2083.

For National Library Week, we can't recommend enough @shannonmattern.bsky.social's 2014 essay "Library as Infrastructure." A decade on, it remains a potent argument for libraries as social, technological & intellectual infrastructure — part of a critical network of institutions buoying public life.
