Working on a collaborative quilting project with friends. We're each making panels about 20" wide X 50" long. Blue is the bottom colour and this needs another four inches along the top, becoming lighter. I'm pleased to have started! 💙 #improvquilting

Tonight as I prepared to add another medallion block, I held this quilt top up to the light, getting a stained glass effect. Had to snap a photo proper of it. Then thought about the brother I lost 29 years ago to suicide. It's a month for prevention awareness. Give your beloveds a hug. 💓

Recently my dad would have turned 82. Been using this quilt a lot lately, made after he died in 2015. It's based on Floating Squares, a design by @sherrilynnwood.bsky.social and one of my fave patterns. 💓 I called it my Dadland Flag. It's great for summer North Coast mornings. #quiltsky #memories
