He wasn’t killed because he was violent. He was killed because he stood between cruel power and innocent people. Because his calm compassion threatened systems built on fear. Because his kindness was an affront to their tyranny. So he was labeled the problem. And made an example.

So today, I learned that if you see a city bus flashing an "Emergency / Call 911" sign. It is a distress signal from the driver. I had never seen this before, so I initially wondered if it was a PSA or something.
