Id love to learn more about those tips and tricks! do you have any resources for this info? i checked the kink engineering website and couldnt see much. like id love to know how you glued the tail base to the belt with those strips for instance

Made a paper mockup of a renamon #latex hood I want to make. This was to test the size and shape and vision for the end result. Works well, I don't think the pattern will work for latex so still a lot of designing left to go

The design is from a YouTube video from @candycoated.bsky.social which worked really well! I made both in parallel over the course of a few hours yesterday

The valves are footballs replacement valves, obtained a pack of 10 on eBay cheap. I cleaned and sanded them then sandwiched 2 latex rings over them to make a base to glue with. Both worked well with their respective glued but time will tell if there is a difference

Did a test, #latex inflatable tubes made with .4mm gauge but 1 with latex milk and the other with bostik glue. Both hold air equally well and show no bubbles in a water test. Milk is harder to work with but that may be my inexperience.

as its #internationaldayoflatex i will show some pictures of a renamon latex suit im working on! this took months to make and design and its my first catsuit. next up is the arms, neck and head pieces. designed the inflatables in blender and catsuit pattern is from catasta charisma.

this cone was glued as intuitively as i thought, which had worse results. it was just glued to itself, wrapping 1 side over the other. then to the body of the object just as well as i could. it gathers and also deforms the surface a lot. it would also look very bulbous when inflated.

this cone was also glued to the body (3) after first gluing the cone (1) to a surface (2) which acted as an internal structure. this makes it hold a good shape even when deflated. really good way to make a shape in latex, but a lot more material and planning is needed

this cone was made by wrapping the cone edge to edge and taping it to a flat stick. then gluing a strip of latex over the top of that. cutting the excess on the tip. made a very good seal and kept shape very well. i want to try doing strip gluing more in other places

this section tests for things like fingers and toes, gluing 2 very curved surfaces to see the limit of stretching it. the top(left) was glued all by hand, feeding the latex between my fingers where as the bottom (left) was glued with 1 peice flat to the table held by tape. top is way better.

This is a test sculpture in #latex to test different methods of making concave and convex surfaces on an inflatable shape. about 30cm long, 0.4mm gauge. trialing different construction methods. it was very good for construction testing, but a pattern error made it impossible to be air tight.

I had a lot of trouble trying to glue the tip and the sides. A strong curved seam with a sharp angle in it seems to not be suited to just overlapping glue. would need to strip glue I think in the future. The tip I tried a later test to see how best to do that.

Inside I had the assumption that gluing outside to outside going in would make a nice crease, but it just goes bulbous. i tried to reinforce it with a strip going around it but no effect, probably needs interior structure to get that effect.

First attempt at an inflatable #latex bunny tail. Designed from a pattern in blender! I didnt like how the shape ended up when inflated and didnt want to use up a valve so never finished it. But it was a good proof of concept. the random square in blender was my cm square base measurement.

Another Catasta Charisma pattern and guide I followed a while ago to make a #latex hood with a zip up the back. First time I did a zip and something this complex. its very tight, should have made it a size larger. It was great practice for fiddly bits and workflow on lining the mouth and eyes

the under arm connection was very fiddly and hard to line up as this was my first time doing so, i didnt do a patch on top to lock it as i didnt think it needed it. but you can still see my gel pen lines on there.

the shoulder seams are much better, done on a flat surface which i think is ideal for latex. but with stuff like arm holes it seems harder to get it looking nice and clean.

I am fairly happy with my seams, I used bostic latex glue and solvent 7/3 ratio which works well. I couldnt get rid of the ripples in my seams though which is something id like to learn how better to do. I want to try latex milk as a glue to see if that works better.

A latex crop top I made using a pattern from www.catastacharisma.com/male-classic... it was before i had the courage to make a full suit and wanted to test the sizing. its a little tight but works really well! I like the reverse playboy bunny look in #latex
