5 Barn Owls on an Upper West Side water tower! 🦉🦉🦉🦉🦉💕 what an incredible Manhattan moment! Photo taken long after nightfall from afar. I pray these beauties never catch a poisoned rat. 💔 Please urge your building manager to use wildlife-safe rodent control! #NYCWildlife #NYC #BarnOwl #owl

I visited the mega-rare Trumpeter Swan on the East River in Brooklyn — the first documented record for this species in New York City! It spent its time in the company of a Mute Swan, enjoying prime views of Manhattan. 🦢🦢🏙️ #TrumpeterSwan, #rarity, #RareBird, #MegaRare, #swan, #bird

Eyewitness News, Yahoo News and others picked up my video of Astoria the Wild Turkey weathering NYC’s snowstorm on Jan 25, 2026. She was shelter-smart, yet still adventurous. Icicles on her face? After 4+ hours they were on mine too! 🤣🦃💕❄️ #Astoria, #wildturkey www.yahoo.com/news/videos/...

Astoria, NYC’s famous Wild Turkey, flying into her roost—right in front of her namesake, the Waldorf-Astoria! It seems spring fever has drawn her away from Roosevelt Island in search of love. Image created just before sunset, when it was already quite dark #Astoria #WildTurkey #NYC #urbanwildlife
