Gemini in progress Gemini work in progress First test proof. Bit of cleanup to do but always a relief when I don’t mess up the faces. Now to get rid of some of the noise and clean up some of the edges. Hopefully I should have some close to finished prints tonight #printmaking #linocut

I’m going to try hand colouring it and see how that goes as I do like the back lines. I do like your idea of a second block for the colours though. That’d give the look I’m after

Cards are done! Now to wait for the printers to send me a template for the box and the finished deck will be in my hot little hands very soon to be approved (and used!) Can’t wait! My babies are about to be born 😁 #printmaking #lenormand #linocut

Latest cards. Now I have two left to do and the card faces are done. Then just figure out a border to go with the back design, and design the box once the printers get the template to me. It’s a bit scary having such a huge project nearly at the end!

Think this might be my favourite card carving so far! It makes me laugh when I look at it which I consider a good thing! Not many more to go… I can’t wait to actually have the deck properly printed and ready to use! 🎈💀 #lino #linocutprint #linocutlenormand #lenormanddeck #printmaking

I’m lucky in that regards with my photography background working with film negatives. Seeing positive/negative is just natural to me. Best thing is to lay down a background of acrylic ink or paint on your Lino so you have your blacks all there already and are basically carving your whites in
