An almost perfectly oval fish surrounded by corals. It is mainly black, with a gradient to blue (top), green (bottom) and yellow (tail). it is covered in tiny white spots, the stars, which highlight the one dark spot at rear end of its dorsal fin, the comet, which gives it its common name.

Things are still not right in my world and I’ll be (mostly) gone for another month or so. But I just went for a walk before the mid-day heat and stole some delicious figs from a tree. And the pomegranates are doing well too. #Puglia #StunDay #GoodThings

A burnt out olive tree left a completely blackened shape like a modern sculpture standing upright. A few dead twigs behind it, signs of dousing the fire on the ground. Completely dried ground all around and a blindingly blue sky above. You can almost see the heat.

They are fantastic. Little tricycle lorries made by, mostly, Fiat. They are called ape, which is Italian for bee. People use them in the vineyards and olive groves. If it weren’t so silly, I’d want one. This is an older version. #Ape #Puglia #DreamCar
