'Primetime' is a film about early-aughts TV, its ratings-at-any-cost sensationalism, and a man's own fetish for mythological self-righteousness. I don't know much about the real Hansen, but Pattinson's character work is worth admission alone. #filmsky

The staff bathroom decor has gone too far. Ma'am, that is a framed image of flaming shit on the wall...

3 framed pieces on a wall of a bathroom. One is a person holding their nose. Another is a finger pointing that says "if at first you don't succeed, flush again." The third is a flaming cartoon turd that says "drop it like it's hot"

'The End of Oak Street' is the best dino movie in decades. It feels like classic WB Cinema in the best ways. Daring camerawork in terms of framing, focus, and background action to build suspense. Aerial shots, which do some heavylifting in the storytelling. And an emotional family arc. #filmsky

Are you familiar with Anthony Oliveira's book 'Dayspring'? There aren't many people I would recommend it to, but you are definitely one of them! It's a queer telling of the gospel through the lens of John/Lazarus, Jesus' beloved. Told in poetry, vignettes, and new translations.
