Thanks for the question. Currently we do require your system to be online at the time of activation. As you already experienced, we do not require you to be online every time you use AP, but once in a while it must be able to validate. We have a system in place to do some on manual basis. Email me!

Well, I've used @animationpaper.com for a good week or two, and I'm very impressed with the program. I look forward to see how it develops as time goes one. This animation is still a WIP, but I enjoyed working on it in my free time & playing around. I'll come back to complete this, maybe someday.

Yes, you can easily export transparent png’s. Go to the menu File > Export > Frames and make sure to check “Include Alpha”.

That’s great! Also I can recommend looking through the drop down menus to orient your self. And reading the keyboard shortcut list is interesting too, because you will discover a lot, including functionality not reachable elsewhere.

No problem, I mean, the available tutorials are super old anyway, so kind of outdated. I was talking about new tutorials that are in production as we speak. They will turn out great. But the old ones, though outdated, will be helpful to watch for the basics I’m sure.

After copy/pasting a drawing you can lose the connection to the original drawing by hitting O. This turns the current drawing into an Original and therefore you can change it all you want without anything else updating.

Add tools to the ToolBar: Go to the menu Window > Customize Tool Bar. To drag drawings in the X-Sheet: X-Sheet > Slide Mode. Or hit shortcut T to Toggle the mode (between Add Clones/Slide mode).

Yes, as mentioned on the site, there’s already a clever and subtle stabiliser working in Animation Paper. But if you are looking for a more conventional and bold smoothing feature, it is on our list of possible things to add in a future update.

Yeah I know. This feed is basically just showing content from a list of certain related hashtags. Sometimes the content can be less relevant - depending on how the people posting use their hashtags. There might be a way for me to set it up to filter off the irrelevant posts - I’m not sure.

Thanks :) The current development version is called Alpha 8.1. The videos that show how to use it was made with Alpha 1 - so they are unfortunately quite outdated by now. But soon we will have the finished software ready and with that a lot of brand new in depth tutorial videos.

Hehe, yes, I created the Hugo the Troll character back when I was very young. I don’t believe I ever met Jeroen Tel, but one of my very good old friends (JCH) was a friend of him (if I’m not mistaken).
