New Glyph album out today. I’m handling CDs and the queen @fiadh.bsky.social is running tapes. If you like black metal with quirky riffs and bass solos this is for you.

You’ve not mastered TikTok until every time you open the app the pissed off ceiling fan dad is the first video you see just waiting for you every single time. That man is a legend and my spirit animal and my day is always better seeing that man also struggle with basic life in an identifiable way.

Listening to my favorite Primus album and remembering how hilarious it was that out of every band I’ve done black metal covers of their fanbase had the biggest meltdown over Southbound Pachyderm. Personally I think it was one of my best renditions. Primus sucks.

Got a record in the mail and had no clue what it was until I opened it. The Sahhar album I ordered in April showed up. Total banger. The main guy Marton is a good friend of mine and you may have heard Sahhar in the USA from the split with Mnajdra that @fiadh.bsky.social released last year.

Hard to believe three weeks ago I was told the most humane thing would be to let her go.

It was a little bit of a down weekend but after some food and medication changes the last couple days have been much improved. Strongest little Egyptian girl in the world. ❤️

We got a great report on bloodwork a couple days ago. Her surgery was now two weeks ago so we’re hoping to be headed in the right direction. Fingers crossed for no more setbacks. 🪬

Two years ago today we lost our sweetest girl Boo. It’s been an excruciating two years. But she’s with us and giving Sphyncus strength to overcome everything life is throwing at her. Sphyncus is making good progress and showing how much fight she has. We’re proud of her and hope Boo is proud of us ❤️

OK, so I may have an ancient Egyptian god in cat form in my house. I rescued Osiris from Egypt in April 2024. When our dog Boo fell ill and while she was passing he was the only one to lay his head across her to comfort her. And now today he’s doing this with Sphyncus. He’s a healer and protecter.

If you are a vinyl person, I have listed some rare test pressings for sale to help me out with these vet bills. Starer, Telesterion, Glyph, Sapientia Diaboli. Most of these have about five copies that exist. snowwolfrecords.bandcamp.com/merch

1) Hey everyone. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity and caring about our girl. The first few days post surgery we saw improvement every day but today we’ve experienced our first setback. We’re back at the emergency clinic and Sphyncus has been diagnosed with severe pancreatitis.

Well, I just successfully got the catheter out of sphyncus’s arm so life is just full of new experiences over here. She’s doing good today. Just stood up on her own. Drinking, peeing, eating in small amounts. Just like me on the weekends 😂

A few people reached out and asked us about making one of these. We’re not asking for anything and we’re not expecting anything but if anyone wants to contribute it is very much appreciated. Thank you ❤️ gofund.me/45e0c8ffd

1. Sphyncus is currently undergoing an emergency surgery for a condition called GDV. We did not know anything about this until tonight. We were literally at the beach with her this morning. With a dog her age there are no guarantees.
