Writing a review of this 28y/o digital SLR: www.edwardnoble.com/560

This Kodak DCS 560 is from before the DPReview website. From before a time when Canon and Nikon made DSLRs of their own. Amazingly, it still works, and perhaps even more amazingly, I managed to get two of the original batteries to work. It has been a fun project researching this and playing with this 6mp beast that cost $55,000 adjusted for inflation.

If you're curious, please check out my retro review and let me know what you think:

Enjoying shooting with the Sony A390, a DSLR from 2010. I'd assumed the nicer colours were from CCD sensor tech, but I'm being told it was the colour filter array and it's just a coincidence that these were changed around the same time that CCD sensors stopped being used 🤔. #sqrlpix

Aha, I guess we have been coming earlier since it's been brighter in the mornings. That's probably how we missed you there over the last year. In the summer I like coming out at 5am when it's quiet 😛

Some still believe they are trying to do it to mice, amazingly. Reading "Transgenic" and thinking "yeah I'm sure that's what that means, no need to google it" 🤣

Hey, wonderful video! 🙂 We saw them today too. There were 4 or 5 and were a bit manic, chasing each other a lot. Sunday was a lot more chilled. It's so nice to see them again after being ill for a while.

Has anyone checked if he even gives his salary back or not? I know it means almost nothing, it's just that he tends to fib a little.

Good for Halbakk! Shame the Norwegian government doesn't also have spine.

A great video of this cutie from Haydee. When trying to feed this one my fingers got nibbled a couple times, but I can kinda tell when their temperament is good so it doesn't bother me when they're as sweet as this one.
