I grew up in spring hill when it had fewer than 1000 residents. It was mostly working class/family run farming. It has become a suburban hellscape that makes me want to *redacted.* urban density can protect rural communities. suburban style land use is unsustainable and unethical.

when born, most breeds have pretty long tails but on the farm we (and most farmers) used tail docking (rubber band on a new lamb’s tail slowly cuts circulation and the tail falls off) to prevent potential health risks as they age. they still can wag that little nub of a remnant tail, though.
