Luna Abyss is refreshingly weird and different. I really appreciate their creative director got to properly flex.

Oughh, Children of Time was a good read. Looking forward to the next book. 🕷️🚀🧑‍🚀

Not sure how I feel about NTE just yet. It's like a weird and silly anime mix of Ghost Busters and Blood Blockade Battlefront. 🤔

Been playing Pacific Drive lately and it's everything I could have wanted in a first-person driving, scavenger, craft survival game with rogue-like elements. Probably my favorite game I've played this year.

Time for another lengthy break from social media me thinks. Already working to bring my blood pressure down, don't need to make it harder. 😩

Still waiting to see some gameplay. . .

Am genuinely annoyed that people are making money selling this stuff and here I am struggling with executive dysfunction to write anything 😩

Cade @angstycade.bsky.social · 12/08/2025

It was only a dollar and had a decent amount of reviews. So it must be entertaining, right?

Finished reading Between Two Fires and loved it, but felt like I should read something light and humorous next. Scanned Goodreads for recommendations, one of them was a military-scifi that gave the impression it was about a band of misfits overcoming difficulties through cleverness and luck ...

BF6 has this really satisfying CHING sound when you get a kill. Hits me right in the dopeymines 🧠🔥

000

Cade @angstycade.bsky.social · 02/08/2025

I made it that one time though! It was pretty good. I should make it again 🤔

000

Cade @angstycade.bsky.social · 02/08/2025

Silliness aside, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is an intriguing premise on the relationship between fallible gods (players) and their creations (characters). The game is pretty good too. 🎲⚔️🧙

If I had a nickle for every time Limp Bizkit is featured in a trailer in 2025, I'd have two nickles. It's not a lot but it's weird that it happened twice. 😅

I usually bounce off Korean mmos but Chrono Odyssey beta has been pretty entertaining. 🕒 Might be because I am in-between games at the moment...

Basil is quite the thirsty bitch of a plant 🌿

Rewatching How To Train Your Dragon and wondering why all the adults have Scottish accents while the kids don't. 🤔

I love etymology but Babel's magic system is a bit over my head. Like I get the gist of it and can appreciate the complexity of it, but it's also like anagram word games which is completely beyond my comprehension. 🤪

Cade @angstycade.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

Doing my best to immerse myself in fictional worlds through books and games because the real world is waaaay too overwhelming for my ADHD empathetic brain right now. 😔

TIL I learned about the difference between lunch (informal), luncheon (formal, like for an event), dinner (main large meal of the day) and supper (small meal taken in the evening).

Cade @angstycade.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

Oh WHAT, humans are the term used to describe the monsters in this game; how very metaphoric dooohohoho 😏

000

Cade @angstycade.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

Some great world building in Metaphor:ReFantazio, but also ironically hilarious that the elda (humans) are the only ones in this fantasy world that don't discriminate by race.

Boredom is a skill issue of the individual.

I consider myself an above-average gamer, but the difficulty gap between Hurt-Me-Plenty and Ultra-Violence in DOOM (2016) feels a bit much. 🤔

Getting old is realizing all the symbolism and meaning in My Friend Totoro

000

Cade @angstycade.bsky.social · 15/05/2025

While it do seems interesting from a design standpoint, it also sounds annoying AF from a gameplay perspective.

Oof. Love the medieval scifi aesthetic of DOOM dark ages. Great stuff.

Didn't he also murder a bunch of people? Pretty sure he did. 🤔

Randomly listening to Crono Cross OST and am simply flooded by overwhelming nostalgia.

Fun #starwars lore fact that the casual fan isn't aware of: The ewoks cooked and ATE the Imperial troopers they killed. 😄 And now you know.

Love love LOVE the attention to the design of clothing and architecture given in #ANDOR s2. Beautiful work.

Watching Sicario for the first time. Holy shit.

Feeling the itch to replay CP2077 so I can at least enjoy the dystopia and briefly forget about our current circumstances and impending rough future.

Atomfall was refreshing and mostly enjoyable. Bit of a vague ending I got but maybe because they want to leave it open for a sequel? Couldn't say. All in all, 8/10. #gaming

Great to see Bernthal as Frank again. Best Punisher there ever was. Iconic like how Jackman does Wolverine. Hope he shows up in more Daredevil episodes.

Avowed was good fun. Didn't know anything about it going in but enjoyed it for the most part.

Been enjoying Indiana Jones & The Great Circle a fair bit. Gives me Thief vibes with all the exploration and sneaking around. Troy Baker also does a phenomenal job replicating Ford's vocal tone.

Ehhh. It really depends on the context. God-like beings, yes, but an actual symbolic representation of a singular creator (be it Christian inspired or otherwise), very few.

First half of Cunk on Life was clever and amusing. The second half feels like they decided to try something different and it's just awkward.
