I had an animals in space film with Charlie Sheen as lead and it got 21/100 so your film is a wonder for the ages

As always, there’s more to it than this. Students have to learn how to use AI. We’re still working out what AI skills we’ll need in 5 years time. Banning its use altogether would be foolish. So how do we know when use becomes mis-use?

She says at the end that we “don’t know who we are any more”. I thought you just said you weren’t part of this “we”? If you’re not English why are you lecturing me about my English identity?

That’s why I’m ambivalent. No one in history has ever got rich from football. I don’t think their plan will work but if they want to give it a try then fine as long as the ground is secure and we don’t end up more indebted

I’m not really getting it. I’m ambivalent about the 50+1 thing but if I understand this the plan is for someone to come in, focus on developing talent and selling it on and keep us viable that way. How is that different to now?

He must have a talent for something - he’s made himself billions after all. So how come when he speaks all we can hear is yet another end-of-the-bar blowhard who has never considered the phrase “that’s not my area of expertise”?

Feels a bit like the panic button has been deployed but maybe that’s needed. Not all of the new strikers can play - I can see one becoming the next Brodie Hughes and being recalled in January.

Burnham must learn from Starmer’s mistakes: Labour was elected to transform the economy, not just stabilise it | Jonathan Portes
Devolution, tax, the EU and immigration: these are all opportunities for growth if Burnham abandons the excessive caution of the past few years, says economist Jonathan Portes

They aren’t worried about Binface. They’re worried that the good people of Clacton will return a resounding “meh” to their publicity stunt. If they get 2000 votes because no one can be bothered, what then?

I actually felt very sorry for his troubles. I hadn’t realised the extent of poverty he experienced when he stopped being a currency speculator. And all for us. Canonisation can’t be far away.

There is no evidence that anti-racism training had anything to do with this poor man’s death - just the usual suspects putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5, for their own purposes. I see nothing to suggest that the police wld have acted differently if the two men had switched places.

Not sure government impact correlates with voting interest particularly - lowest paid have always had more of an interest n accessing public services but highest participation remains (relatively) well off pensioners

Cut taxes for the lowest paid - maybe raise the tax free allowance. Apart from the moral case, extra money for billionaires sits in their savings vehicles doing very little - extra money for the lowest paid gets pumped straight back into the economy

But that’s the point - we shouldn’t have done that either. Israel continues to commit genocide and the international community should take action - but Jewish people collectively are not responsible.
