we brush over the poisoned chalice too much as a fandom. episode 4 and arthur disobeyed his father for merlin. episode 4 and merlin drank poison willingly. episode 4 and arthur was riding to his death for merlin. that amount of devotion while they were somewhat strangers is crazy

morgwen as pirates! #bbcmerlin

morgana and gwen as pirates that i forgot to post. morgana is wearing a loose shirt with a brown corset with a red scarf around her waist, brown pants and brown boots. gwen is wearing a lighter brown bodice (over a loose yellow shirt) along with 3 belts, green pants and dark boots. the background is supposed to give off ocean vibes with leaves and anchors.

This scene is actually insane. Day one and mithian knew merlin was the most important person in arthur's life. Day one and Mitian knew if they were any chance she could get with arthur merlin couldn't hate her.

the pendragon siblings are so tragic, both of their hated towards their father is what lead them to their deaths. arthur was very self aware tho he did everything as to not become his father. while morganas hatred blinded her and lead her down the same path she so despises

i always laugh a little when i see this scene being used in merthur edits. i know they looks good here but they just finished arguing cuz arthur wanted gwen and merlin couldn’t find her 😭

scene from arthur’s bane (pt 1) at around the minute mark

I absolutely LOVE merlin fandom 😭 what do you mean it's been 12 years since it ended and people are still actively making fan content with dedication of a man possessed 😭 how is it still so active, how is it so FULL AND ALIVE +

i will never shut up abt this clip. ur telling me arthur ive been trained to kill since birth pendragon who wakes up with a sword at the slightest noise was not startled to find merlin 1 foot away going through his stuff and instead starting speaking to him softly??? he even kicked him out nicely
