BTW, almost all the fabrics I'm using are leftovers from the flower girl dress I made my daughter last year. The lining is bemberg rayon, and the outer fabrics are silk. The netting came off an old Betsey Johnson shirt.

The #1 thing I dread about getting a new Volks doll? Removing the hot glued eyes. Does anyone actually like hot glued eyes? In trying to organize my doll clothes, I had to figure out which pieces of these similar sets were for two different sizes. So, since I had to dress them up, have Mikhail (a very rare Buddydoll Raphael) and Arata (Volks F101). They kinda have a Der Tod/Rudolf vibe going, and I like it!

Anyway, have a pic of my kid on Halloween. She wanted to be a sparkly T-Rex, so that's what I made. Then at 3PM on Halloween, she wanted to be a pterodactyl instead. Did I cut some wings out of craft foam and slap them on the costume? Yes. Did my 3 year old totally buy it? Also yes 🤣
