Great article, definitely a tricky offseason with how many minor leaguers they need to protect with only 3 free roster spots. I definitely agree with moving on from Call and trying to bring back Skubal. I would also like them to being back Vesia and Phillips, but they will definitely have a market.

The Dodgers won eight straight playoff series. Do that prior to 1969, and you win eight championships. Do it from 1969-93, you win four. They got two. It’s just that much harder now. Winning two in a row, or three as the Yankees did, is damned near a miracle. Format drives legacy.

Yep, time for the long dark winter until spring brings baseball again. No matter how good or bad your team is baseball is better than no baseball. That being said I'll will always be happy to root for this team and these players.

Their season might be almost over (and in an embarrassing fashion), but saying "the sun is setting on the dodgers dynasty" is completely over the top when they won 100 games, are in the NLCS for the 3rd straight year, and have a top 3 farm system in the league.
