Each of these piexes are individually made - no molds or patterns. I'm thinking I need to make matching spoons🤔 These will both be available next month at a new @shopmakers.ca store in Kelowna! So excited! #artist #okanaganartist #canadianartist #biomorphicart #femaleartist #ceramicartist

Not a very practical vessel - but interesting to look at...? I'm seeking to make more unconventional pieces; familiar yet ambiguous... #functionalart #canadianartist #biomorphicart #femaleartist #contemporarysculpture #ceramicart

I have named these "Tafoni Vessels" - after the natural formations VM created by water and wind on rocks and sand. Nature is an excellent sculptor! #artist #canadianartist #biomorphicart #femaleartist #contemporarysculpture #ceramicart #functionalart

Sometimes, a piece of work I've created just gives me pure joy- this little guy is one of them! It was fun to make and even better to see having made it through its bisque fire safely this morning. #artist #canadianartist #biomorphicart #femaleartist #contemporarysculpture #ceramicart #ceramicartist

This 6-legged pod vessel is ready for drying now! I've been trying to take some of my favorite encaustic sculptural forms and make them in clay - I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! #artist #encaustic #ceramicsculpture #canadianartist #biomorphicart #femaleartist #contemporarysculpture

This is my #encaustic and paper #sculpture made of some of my recycled projects - the 450+ "pollen balls" represent the more than 450 indigenous bees species in BC that are at risk due to loss of habitat and introduced species. On exhibit this June! #artist #canadianartist #womanartist

This is a large paper and #encaustic woven basket I'm currently working on for a group exhibition in June. It's hard to see the scale in this photo, but it's almost 3 feet across the top! It will hold a very large number of.....well you'll just have to wait and see what those will be #femaleartist

This little weirdo is all done! Two d-rings seen into the back means it can hang in any configuration, or just sit on a tabletop. #encaustic, #fosshape, and pigment #canadianartist #biomorphicart #femaleartist #contemporarysculpture #encausticsculpture #wallsculpture #waxartist

I have multiple bins in my studio containing encaustic bits and bobs; some were made for a project, but never used, and others are the result of reclamation, all just waiting for another chance. One of the best qualities of encaustic - it can be recycled and reused! #encaustic #artist

I am here! I'll still post in IG, but hope to eventually walk away in totality once I've established my artsy tribe here on Blue sky. I'm sharing my most recent encaustic wall sculpture "Pearl" just recently exhibited at my solo exhibition at Headbones Art Gallery.
