I'm contemplating publishing physical copies of the manga using Kindle Direct Publishing in the future but I'm on the fence about it because since it's so easy to use, it's notorious for it's users being AI writing scammers and mindless profit hustlers. What do y'all think?

The thing I like about Invader Zim's sound design is the scarcity of BGM compared to a lot of cartoons I've seen. It's mostly just eerie ambience and short musical sound effects broken only by the characters' vocal shenanigans with actual BGM being reserved for intense scenes.

#artistadvice You CAN price your commissions to be how much you want, but if you're a freelancer especially starting out, going for as low as you feel is still enough to compensate for your time is best. Taking an education in microeconomics really helped me out with deciding on my prices.

Looking at real gore doesn't make me feel disgust. It makes me feel depressed. I don't care how it looks because that's just what we all look like on the inside. But it's par of why it makes me feel hopeless, seeing a human just like me, lifeless like that. We don't realize how fragile we are.

WIP The manga's subject matter will be rated M or possibly R due to the ouright cartoon gore, but the style and humor is going to be more cartoony and exaggerated, a bit like Invader Zim. It's meant to be a bit of nostalgia for the era when people went all out on cartoons.
