What the fuck? Doordash always runs like shit on my browser even when nothing else has issues, so i did a profile and. 67% of the time is spent on garbage collection, and every few seconds it's slowly allocating then releasing 1.3 GIGABYTES of memory???

Wow and so soon after seeing Kratos I helped a PERFECT recreation of Kongol from Legend of Dragoon survive a roadside ambush. I don't remember seeing a lot of good character recreations when I played before.

Oh my God this game is the coolest game in the world sometimes. Fought a minotaur AND this chimera in the black of night, in pouring rain that disabled lanterns and obscured vision, the light here is from the High Empyrean our mage cast, without it I was finding enemies by they glow of their eyes

Holy shit what the fuck. Dragon's Dogma kicks ass. Very unfortunate that most large monsters can't take fall damage but I did go finish it off. I don't know why the griffin left, once it appeared it just circled and made a couple half-hearted passes at me, I made the right choice not to engage lol

Pleased with myself; a place i download things from is very reliable except the downloads constantly get interrupted for some reason, so at first i learned to use curl for resumable DLs then wrote a shell script to keep resuming it until it finishes or hits an actual error code. Works great!

There's a camera at the top of that spire which can see basically everything in town (from very far away), and also I have a number of other cameras giving better views of most areas. The first image description describes all the major features.

In the very northwest corner, a water park where many water types are living. Just south of there is the glass house built for Electric types to live in. Southeast of that, kind of hard to see in this greyscale, is an open park where the whole Oddish line lives, as well as holding all the PokeDolls. In the southwest corner is the Fire house, where a number of fire types live, with the smelters outside so I can easily get them working on them. East from there are the crop fields and Grass house, you get the idea. East of there are the Rock and Ground houses, one covered for dark lovers and one open for others. Inside the hill north of there is a house for Dark and Ghost types mostly. North of there is the tower where I nominally live on the second floor, there's a lot of Normal and Flying types in the tower but also random Pokemon who were just the earliest to arrive. Northwest of that is a concert stage just for fun. On the east edge is the Freezing Chambers building, and the only things off screen are south across the water from that, where the Electric Plant and Fire Shrine buildings are.

Most of the houses can be seen from this camera placed on a 2nd floor corner of the tower. Much easier to identify the crops and the park (ringed by Mysterious Stone to make it count as a house)

Another 2nd floor camera, this one has views of the Rock and Ground houses, the fossil exhibits outside, and the waterfalls on the hill

This camera is actually on another island just across the water, and shows the backs of Electric and Fire houses as well as some of the hydroelectric plants providing much of the power

Can't really build any taller given I already built the observation decks, so instead I'm adding underground areas, which will be better for many Pokemon really (currently I just have shutters on floor 2). First extended main lift down, built a platform with an underlevel-only secondary lift

I have spent a very very very long time building this communal housing building in Pokopia. Originally 3 floors with 4 rooms (8x8) and two utility rooms (3x8) per floor for 48 residents minimum, the one elevator became an issue so I turned the utility rooms into more hallway with new elevators

I complained about the obviously AI non-jobs on LinkedIn yesterday but jesus. This one is like. Seemingly a transcript of the verification challenges to look at an artstation account and THE AI'S IP ADDRESS. Of course it's just an AWS server but that pretty much confirms it.

This is pissing me off so much. Cyan line is the direction of the value of Velocity being used to control movement, Magenta line is the "actual" velocity direction as measured by change in position since last frame. WHY. It didn't used to do this and I have no clue what changed it

It always seems to be a bunch from one company I've never heard of, so it's probably the companies using some stupid AI shit and not LI itself, but the AI is just grabbing descriptions of games and posting them, turning the genre (usually) into a location

I have now fixed the slippery floors and backwards animations when upside down, but otherwise this is a fairly accurate representation of progress on my bunny game prototyping. Still gotta figure out some physics edge cases like when i sort of slide up the wall for a second

A test with a new computer showed the GDID was installed in under 4 seconds of connecting the internet, BEFORE it even checked if the windows copy was licensed. The only way to avoid it is to DNS block login dot live dot com, which means nothing on your computer can ever log in to anything microsoft
