Shout out to Boot for genuinely making me realize how much in common these two games have with each other. Because yeah when you think about it, there are very similar. Everyone has a favorite weapon in S3 like how everyone has a favorite Uma in Pretty Derby.

010

Anewtstart @anewtstart.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

I will stand by the fact that these two games are very similar, because if you think about it. The Gear system in S3 is a lot like the Legacy Builder for Pretty Derby. You purposely set out to get the best gear/horse girl by using certain tools the game provides to you.

If you think about it, these games are very similar and have alot of overlap, but that is conversation for a different day.

For context, it is a theory that spawned with DK after the DK design was shown off. So people are saying that Fox showing up and taking up some screen time in the movie is set up for people to get ready for a new Star Fox game.

030

Anewtstart @anewtstart.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

No, I get what you mean. Heck if the leak of the new Star Fox game is true, then this also applies to the 1st movie as well with DK. New DK model, and then he got a new game. They could be doing the same with Fox, but we shall see.

8/18 12:30 PM EST chapter 4.3 - free the flames ive been apprehensive about this because of the recent roblox drama but my desire to complete this shines through #blocktales

a group of cartoon people with varying looks on their faces.
the leftmost one is wearing a brown hat, orange scarf, and has a surprised look on his face as he looks away from investigating a coin.
the middle one is visibly disturbed, one arm covering their chest with the other stretched out as if to say not to move forward. the spikes on the back of their head are red.
the rightmost person just looks confused as he looks at something on fire, a brown hat floating above his head.

fun obscure super smash bros fact: menu 2 from melee has two variations most games use the original song but brawl uses a remix thats longer and has better instrumentation the original's bass is much less pronounced than it is in the remix, and said remix has an extra section to lengthen it

It's a comparison between two songs, being Menu 2 theme from Super Smash Brothers Melee, and the variation of it used in Brawl. The version in Brawl is 25 seconds longer than the original.

a person is standing on a jeep with one foot behind them and one foot on the top of the windshield of the jeep. They are holding the windshield with one hand and holding the other up, looking at the camera with what would be a happy face if they didnt have a mask covering their mouth.

figured an update would at least be good

It's a post from Supsy on Discord.
It reads, and I quote, "video update because it's been ages: this is how far i've gotten (i have had many days of low motivation and high tiredness so my progress has been severely halted)"
An attached photo shows a person holding up a bottle. This is the cutscene before the fight against The Great Flocci.
To continue his post, quote, "unfortunately half the time i'd want to work on this the wifi's been shut off for the night so whOOPS GUESS I GOTTA RECONNECT (aka wait 12 hours bc sleep) TO EDIT AGAIN YAAAAY!!!!!"

there is a person standing triumphantly in a desert scene. a box at the top of the image details them firing a rocket launcher at a megaphone man, which caused him to collapse and for the person to claim victory.
their attack and defense are both boosted by 2, and their HP is full, being at 50 out of 50.

something about mutiny idk (featuring two new-ish characters) #art #ocart #blocktales

three people are standing by the pedestal of the firebrand.
on the left is a robot dragon, standing with its mouth slightly open, as errors flood its digital eyes.
on the right is a fire dragon in a sleeveless hoodie, shoulders tense as they look up at the ancients with a panicked look in his eyes.
in the middle is a humanoid person, head lowered and with an angry/determined look on their face as they manifest the ice dagger out of a robotic arm, causing their necklace to glow a similar color. the spikes on the back of their head are glowing red.
the battlefield is the top of mount red sun from block tales. a blurred image of the ancients is in the top right, and all three people are looking at it.

a blue-haired octoling with the octolocks style looking at the camera. one eye is gray and the other a pale red as they look apprehensive.
they have two bandages, one above their red eye and one below their glasses.
the top portion of their face from their glasses up is obscured.
the octoling is in a trash can.
