Somewhere down the line it turns out my son has conflated Esther Rantzen, who he assumed to be a fella, with some mythical bogeyman style figure. He even pinpointed the house to us a couple of miles away where he assumed HE lived. Must be some kind of breakdown in communication about Childline.
