had a dream a while ago following my initial playthrough of deltarune chapters 3 and 4 that featured this character. she only showed up for like a split second near the end, but the design's stuck with me ever since, so I decided to do a quick little sprite/character bio mockup for her.

ref sheet kinda

transcription:
SPITEFUL PRINCESS OF FLORA: PETUNIA

flower-themed princess who
puts on a front of being calm and collected,
but under the surface is super angry and bitter.

is vein and lonely, believes she needs a "prince"
her real-world item would be a boquet of flowers

Her original design that showed up in my dream. She originally had branch antler thingies but it felt a bit too noelle-coded so I swapped them out for the petunia flowers on her head, which also served to give her a better accent color so she wasn't so monotone.

Transcription:

character i dreamed up that is pretty much just plant-themed elnina and noelle fusion

she didnt even originate from anything deltarune related in the dream but i know what my brain was thinking when she was conceptualized

I don't think there will be a more iconic moment in #DELTARUNE than when this happened at the end of chapter 3. I was FREAKING OUT when they revealed this.

astreas space uniform fit, inspired by alot of cybercore aesthetics and whatnot. turns out a lot of it is just kinda what I already tend to design for outfits anyway so yipee

astreas casual outfit. inspired by alot of y2k stuff and is meant to be a sort of direct translation of her space uniform

love how nintendo saw that people were reuploading their music without their permission and their solution wasn't to upload it onto somewhere accessible like spotify or apple music or even youtube, but rather to gatekeep it on an app you need to subscribe to their online service to use. brilliant.
