Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I've been watching Reads with Rachel's content for a while and she talks a lot about book banners and points out how ridiculous their claims are. It's only ok if it's Christian propaganda. 000
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Yeah, I guess I wish more people would specify and not just talk so generally. I think it would be more helpful for everyone to know when-why-where. 000
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I generally don't drink or snack WHILE reading because it's sort of hard to do both if you're reading a physical book and I don't want to spill. But sometimes I may have some fruit, like apple slices or grapes. #BookishQOTD #BookSky 061
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Btw, bought Resi 4 Remake during the Steam sale and I played a little bit of it and it's so scary. As in, I wish I was playing a stealth version of it where I don't have to alert all the enemies and they won't come screaming at me and grabbing me and killing my beautiful Leon face horrifically. 000

Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I never really know what we mean by banned books. Banned by whom? And banned where, for what reason? Are we just talking about book bans in the US (which I don't even know if are state-specific or what)? 100
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 07/10/2026How I arrived on Bluesky. (This was literally my first post here, but now we have GIF capabilities, so it actually works.) 130

Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 04/10/2026So I heard the rumor that Goodreads is going to be adding half stars, but I didn't really believe it. But I did my own investigation (read: checked their Instagram) and they indeed posted a video heavily hinting at a half and quarter stars update. www.instagram.com/p/DeDChvDDfrm/instagram.comInstagramCreate an account or log in to Instagram - Share what you're into with the people who get you. 000
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Ok, but objectively #ThreshingDay is a very ugly looking book, right? They just sprayed a whole can of silver paint all over it and called it a day. Even if I was a fan, I wouldn't want that tacky thing on my shelf. 000

Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I've noticed that girlypop gets a bit jealous when boy cat comes to sleep close to me. He doesn't snuggle, but she feels like she has to be closer, so she'll squeeze herself in somehow without touching him either, which usually means I'll get trapped on both sides 🫠 000
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I've been posting all my stupid comments while reading on Pagebound. It's a pretty fun app for that 👍 010

Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Rachel's commentary and inserted memes/clips in this 👌 And the way she does the voices of for these stupid characters never gets old 😆 I truly I lost it at “Yeah, take that! Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Oh, you're gonna have to tell me if it's as good as people say. Everyone went nuts for it, but I don't trust the hype. 110
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Absolutely. I'm obviously biased, but you cannot tell me that horror isn't having a huge moment right now. And for a good reason. 000
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Watched #TheHuntingGround. It's a pretty solid documentary about the institutional effort to silence the victims of rape on U.S. college campuses. The problem is, this doc came out in 2015...and I believe things are just as bad if not worse today. 000
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I do like a sturdy hardcover, especially for thicker books. ESPECIALLY if it's pretty. But a floppy paperback is SO nice as well. Generally, if I buy fantasy, I prefer a hardcover. If horror, then a paperback is usually fine. #BookSky #BookishQOTD 041
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Perfect adaptation, you say? Well, might as well go big then: The Robin Hobb Cinematic Universe 🙌 #BookSky #BookishQOTD 041
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 30/09/2026A lot of Cillian Murphy? Well, that's exactly the amount that I wanted. 010

Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Might be a while til I get to it. I'm focusing more on my physical TBR. 110
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 29/09/2026I never got into this series because the hype was too much. But I think I'm coming around to it...maybe. At least to check it out. 100
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Getting my car back tomorrow (got the door repainted). For a bit at least, because it'll have to go to the mechanic's next, as soon as the stupid small thingy that needs to be replaced with a lot of undeserved inconvenience arrives. 010
Aneleh @aneleh.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Alphabet of Thorn was great. I've run out of Particia A. McKillip now tho 😭 (might have to get some more) Emma has been on my IG feed for a while now. Everyone seems to love this series. I do get it. It's very witty. 010
