Throughout my 11+ years of being a black metal enthusiast (I'm autistic), I could never understand what the fuck third wave black metal is. Which locations? What sounds? What bands? It was never fully described to me and I don't even think it's a legitimate wave compared to first and second wave BM.

I tried listening to Sleep Token. On my end, I grew up listening to R&B (mostly Motown shit that my parents loved), and I don't have any qualms with newer R&B. But Sleep Token doesn't do anything for me other than make me sleep.
