What nine games defined who you became? Honestly, the answer is none of them, however these nine games are the backbone of what I enjoy in gaming today. An awesome storyline, an adventure and great mechanics.

If you're at VCF Midwest tomorrow, be sure to stop into the SE Michigan Vintage Computer Club tables and say hi to the team. Unfortunately, I can't make it this year. But Al, Dan, Eric, Chris, Pete, Dani and Nic are attending to our table this year. Hope you enjoy the show!

Unfortunately, I won't be at VCFMW this year, but my dear friends, 8-Bit Devices, and a bunch of the SE Michigan Vintage Computer Club (SEMVCC) team will be holding down the fort this year, including members Eric Mason and Dani Sarfati AKA DaniFunker (MiSTer Dev, USBODE and Rusty Backup). Have fun!

So what #spotify is saying is that if they screw you over, they can't be taken to court... Time to move the podcasts I suppose. I knew once Spotify bought Anchor things would get shady.

Has the world of things Microsoft seemingly taken a dump on you lately? I did an update after streaming on Thursday and came back to hardware issues, non-responsive windows and failing transfers. Looks like I'll be reloading my OS again soon. That's less than six months since my last.

My baby... A 1992-1993 (can't remember which) Fender Telecaster Plus. The only guitar that has outlasted the rest, about 10 or so. It has outlasted 30+ amps. Plays like butter and is uber versatile.

I am an Atari 7800 apologist. GCC made a brilliant machine that was nerfed by Jack Tremiel's unfair business practices. Titles like Galaga, Dig Dug, Joust and Robotron: 2084 had their best versions on the 7800. Not necessarily for graphics and sound, but for their refined gameplay. 1/3

Sorry, I don't get it... And I'm not just being a curmudgeon, this makes absolutely zero sense to me. C64 Ultimate = Awesome, Callback = Stupid, TAC-2 = Awesome but overpriced and this is just mind boggling. Theme it after Epyx Games or classic EA games... 🤦

Compaq Presario 5528 - "A case of misplaced nostalgia" This was an object of affection for years, a friend had one and then I found one as an adult. This thing fought me tooth and nail. So much so, that I immediately sold after getting it running. Why do I still long for it? Gross...
