Testing out printing onto deck boxes, came out pretty well!

Another questionable diagram from that book. The more you look at how it describes everything, the more you see the skewed value judgements being put forth as if they were science.

Very loose "family tree" concept of hereditary

"Stephenson's Rocket" by Reiner Knizia. Very Acquire-ish feel to it, with stock acquisition and rail lines merging when they connect, but with some extra elements that provide more control. Very much about reading which players will avoid what you put in their path, and which will mutually benefit.

Working on games for a company that makes masks for about 5 years, and this is only the third mask that I've bought for myself, because it's super cool.

We've started storing things in the attic, which I suspect is the first step in a slow slide to hoarding.

"Botswana" by Knizia. On your turn you take an animal and play a card. The most recently played card for an animal is its current value. When all the cards for any one animal have been played, the turns ends and they all score. Sort of a game of chicken with stocks, where the animals are the stocks.

We got a 3 pack of these crazy bright rechargeable work lights on significant markdown for $17, then got them home and realized they also have a USB-C out port, so they can be like portable phone batteries too. Very pleased.

This inventory counting robot was trying to go back to its dock (it said "going home" on its face-screen). But someone had put stanchions in its way on both sides of the white pole, so it just went back and forth for several minutes until a worker came and moved them.

"Greylune" by William Attia. A re-work of Spyrium. Take turns placing workers around a grid of cards. The more workers around a card, the more expensive it is to buy/activate. Gain adventurers and items, increase stats, resolve quests, and tell tales at inns. Point salad, very thinky. #boardgames
