6-12h spread over 2-3d to allow thinking time. Lately have been tracking time with a pretty hard 8h cap. Will probably drop that to 6, am realizing extra time rapidly produces diminishing returns

I started my group in 2020, in lockdown, without induction/mentorship bc of the chaos of the pandemic. New PI slack single-handedly kept me sane & grounded, & reminded me I wasn't alone.
